St. Jeanne D'Arc

St. Jeanne D'Arc

Maid of Orléans 1412 – 1431

Patronage France, Captives, Feminists, Soldiers, & Radio

Feast Day May 30

Jeanne grew up on a farm in France. At a young age, she heard voices from angels and saints guiding her to cut her hair, dress as a soldier, and lead troops to victory. She believed God sent her to lead, and the French King believed her. Jeanne, unarmed, led the army, carrying a white banner for Christ. When she was wrongfully burned at the stake, she resolutely said, “Raise the cross higher.”

Saint Jeanne, intercede to the Holy Ghost that I may fully devote my life to the mission written on my heart. That I may be courageous and brave.

Medal Photo

I wear this medal every so often. You can see the wear and tear of it. I got it in the Cathedral of St. Madeleine in Paris, France in 2016.

Fire Photos

Spur of the moment, I whipped out my camera at my friend's fire pit. These are essential to showing Jeanne’s spirit and cause of martyrdom.

Forget-me-nots

You’ll never forget Jeanne. This flower was a tongue-in-cheek choice.

These flowers come from my mom’s garden.
