Feast Day June 1
A learned man interested in philosophy; Justin chose to convert to the faith in his early 30s. With his interests, he spread the gospel through his travels as a layman. Eventually his faith got him arrested and when requested, he refused to sacrifice to the pagan Gods, he was beheaded by the Roman Empire. His writings influenced early Christians & and his trial records still exist.
