Marie Madeleine, also known as Mary of Magdala was the first person whom Jesus appeared to when he resurrected from the dead. She spread the news to his closest friends and continued to spread the gospel to what is present-day France. Her actions sharply contrast her dark disposition that Jesus saved her from when they first met.
Small Snippet
Saint Marie, intercede to the Holy Ghost that when I come to know the transcendent presence of God, I won’t hesitate to share what I’ve been given with others.

I got this medal at the Basilica, which is dedicated to Marie in Paris, France.
This is why I use the French spelling. It reflects my personal connection to Mary of Magdala.
