As bishop, he allowed a layman to speak and preach in the churches because he believed it to be right.

According to legend, when he was sentenced to death, the wild animals that were supposed to harm him licked his feet instead.


Prayer

Saint Alexander, intercede to the Holy Ghost that I may have wisdom between knowing when to bend the rules and when follow them.
