Fun Fact

Casimir was a Prince of Poland, son of King Casimir IV. During a siege of Hungary, he ordered the army to retreat without permission. He was banished for three months.

Casimir had a strong devotion to Mary, singing the "Daily, Daily Sing to Mary," written by Bernard of Cluny. It became known as "St. Casimir's Hymn."
