Feast Day February 23

Fun Fact

Polycarp went into hiding from the Roman Empire at a farmhouse. While praying, he had a vision of his pillow burning. He believed this meant he would be burned alive. He was found and refused to turn from God. Legend tells a fire swirled around him as if to protect him. They eventually did martyr him though.

Prayer

Saint Polycarp, intercede to the Holy Ghost that I may trust my instincts and believe in God's protection when I need it most.
