Scholastica is the twin sister of St, Benedict. They grew up together and each chose to the religious life in line with Benedict's rules.

Legend tells when her brother refused to stay the night, her prayers were answered in form of a nasty rain storm that prevented him from leaving.

Prayer

Saint Scholastica, intercede to the Holy Ghost that I may weather the storm no matter how hard it gets, knowing this too shall pass.
