Legends tell of Christopher being more than 7 feet tall, and that he helped travelers cross a river because of his height and strength.

One time, he carried a small child across. He felt as if he carried the weight of the world. The child said he was Christ and vanished.

Prayer

Saint Christopher, intercede to the Holy Ghost that I may trust in the Lord for safety as I travel, whether it's rockclimbing, surfing, dirtbiking, or via plane, boat, or car.
