St. Thérèse Martin
The Little Flower of Lisieux 1873–1897
Patronage Florists and Gardeners, Missionaries, France, Carmelite Nuns
Feast Day October 1
Fun Fact
Thérèse is a Doctor of the Church. She usually spoke about how she was a little flower in the garden of Jesus. She believed that we are each a special and integral part of the garden, no matter how large or small. Her ideal world is one that we can all balance out.
Prayer
Saint Thérèse, intercede to the Holy Ghost that I may do small things with great love as you did as Jesus' little flower in your ordinary life as a Carmelite nun.
Amen.
