Patronage Against Storms, Of Tests, Books, Twins, Winning & Reading

Feast Day February 10

Scholastica is the twin sister of St. Benedict. They grew up together and each chose to live the religious life in line with Benedict's rules. In one instance, her brother refused to stay the night because of his rules. She had an intuition that she would die soon and wanted to spend time with him. Her prayers were answered in form of a nasty rainstorm that prevented him from leaving.

Small Snippet

Saint Scholastica, intercede to the Holy Ghost that I may humble myself when I get my way, and that I may weather the storms life throws my way with confidence.

Black Eyed Susans

Since Scholastica is the patroness against storms, I chose to get the clouds into it.
