Feast Day January 20
Sebastian, a Roman Soldier and secretly a Christian, used his position to share his faith, delivering supplies to the underground Christians. Upon learning of this activity, the emperor Diocletian had Sebastian tied to a tree as target practice for his Roman archers. St. Irene of Rome healed Sebastian’s wounds, and Sebastian defiantly continued to share his faith until death.
Small Snippet
Saint Sebastian, intercede to the Holy Ghost that I may integrate my faith within my professional work life, that I may have harmony in all that I do.

Original Photo
I saw this moss hiking through Minnewaska State Park, NY.
I chose moss as a form of healing for his wounds. St. Irene could have even used moss for all we know. I also think moss is the best.
Inspiration Photos
I wanted to have him tied to a tree to closely portray his story.
Trees
Took these flowers around my neighborhood.
