Fun Fact

Jude's name was shortened to distinguish him from Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus. He was simply referred to as Thaddaeus in certain gospels. Jude was also a cousin and blood relative of Jesus Christ.

Prayer

Saint Jude, intercede to the Holy Ghost that I may live with hope when all hope seems to be lost. Guide me to our Lord, especially through the bleakest, darkest situations I face in my life.
