Fun Fact

Agatha is associated with Sicily, Italy. Legend tells that after her death, her silk scarf protected the people from flowing molten lava, which flowed from the erupting Mt. Etna. The most recent report came from the 1840's. When imprisoned by Quintianus, the Roman consul, Agatha had a vision of St. Peter healing her breast wounds.


Prayer

Saint Agatha, intercede to the Holy Ghost that I may have protection against natural disasters, especially earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
