Fun Fact

Edward was the only Anglo-Saxon English King to be canonized as a saint.

Legend tells while Edward rode to a ceremony a beggar approached him. Having no money on him, he gave the man his ring. A few years later, two Englishmen were stranded in the holy land. A man helped them, and gave them the ring to return to King Edward.

Prayer

Saint Edward, intercede to the Holy Ghost that when tempted by worldly desires, I may stay true to my faith, remembering what matters most.
